Built by a tea enthusiast, not a tea master
I'm a programmer who loves tea. Over the years I tried plenty of timer apps. Most were either too generic (three minutes flat for everything) or buried what I needed behind subscriptions and accounts.
So I made Steep for myself first: clean, fast, no login, with proper Apple Watch support and Live Activities. The brewing parameters in the library come from established tea sources and community consensus, not from my personal expertise.
I'm not a tea sommelier. If you spot an error in a brewing guide or a tea profile, email me and I'll fix it. The library will keep growing because I, and other tea enthusiasts like you, keep brewing.
